Jim Megerian is a seasoned musician with deep roots in the Detroit music scene. Born and raised in Michigan, he developed his musical style by absorbing the rhythms of Motown, classic rock, and reggae. As a bassist, he has played with prominent Michigan bands Black Market and The Look, touring extensively throughout the Midwest, Canada, and Jamaica. His bass playing is heavily influenced by James Jamerson, Jaco Pastorius, and Aston Barrett, blending technical precision with a deep sense of groove. Today, Jim continues to perform, most recently  with JC and the Disciples, Acoustic Madness, Ragamuffin, and the Belle Islanders, as well continuing to record, and produce music, both onsite and remotely, offering his expertise to artists and bands in need of a skilled and versatile musician.
